To mark last year's 60th anniversary of the initial publication of this, the first Bond novel, the Fleming Estate teamed up with Bentley (as the cognioscenti are aware, Bond's preferred car marque) to produce a special edition, limited to 500, covered in double-stitched beluga-coloured leather from the tannery in Italy which provides hides for Bentley’s interiors, embossed with the winged Bentley logo and with a spine representing the metal tread-plate of the cars. It has a limited-edition marque with Fleming's signature that mirrors the cars' engine plates and a hidden compartment that holds a leather-bound case of Bentley Bond playing cards, reflecting the famous game of high-stakes poker Bond plays with Le Chiffre. 

All this contained in a clamshell box also covered in double-stitched beluga-coloured leather. It is a fabulous production, which we are offering at the retail price of £750.  

Please note, there has been a previous collaboration of this type - a special edition of Devil May Care, priced similarly, which is now changing hands at between £1200 and £2200.
